SPM Gmail MCP

An internal tool of Summerfield Properties Management that lets our AI assistant read property reports sent to our company Gmail — read-only.

What it does

Once the company mailbox is connected, the assistant can:

• Search the mailbox using normal Gmail search syntax
• Read a message's text and list its attachments
• Extract the contents of PDF, Excel, CSV and text attachments for analysis
• Save report attachments on our server, filed in one folder per day

What it cannot do

Access is limited to the gmail.readonly scope. The tool cannot send, reply to, delete, label, or change anything in the mailbox.

Who uses it

This is not a public service. It connects to one mailbox owned by Summerfield Properties Management and is used only by our own staff.

Disconnecting

Access can be revoked at any time from Google account permissions, which immediately ends the tool's access to the mailbox.
